Fred Fairclough, Jr. Mr. Fairclough is a Consultant to Bonneville Mortgage Company, a Salt Lake City, Utah based commercial mortgage banking firm he co-founded in 1976 and where he served as President from 1982 to 1998. Mr. Fairclough currently serves as a Director of Advanta Bank Corporation, a Draper, Utah based credit card issuer focused on the small business market throughout the United States. He also serves as a Director of Peoples Utah Bancorporation, as well as its’ wholly owned subsidiary Bank of American Fork. Bank of American Fork, based in American Fork, Utah, is the largest community bank in Utah with eleven full service branches in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.
From 1972 to 1976 Mr. Fairclough was employed at Western Mortgage Loan Corporation in residential construction lending and as a commercial loan officer. Mr. Fairclough served as a Director of First Federal Bank from 1998 until it was sold to Washington Federal Savings in 1993. Since 1972 Mr. has been involved as a principal in the development of twenty plus income producing properties including industrial, office, retail, apartment and condominium projects in Utah and Idaho.
Mr. Fairclough currently serves as a Trustee of Utah Community Reinvestment Corporation, as a Trustee of Primary Children’s Medical Center Foundation, and as a Director of Health Sciences Advocates at the University of Utah Medical Center. Mr. Fairclough served as a commissioner of the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City from 1994 to 2002 including two terms as chair. Mr. Fairclough obtained his BS in marketing from the University of Utah in 1971.
